Track Description Motocross Near the Arch? We invite you to join us for motocross riding at its finest. Conveniently located less than six miles from downtown St. Louis, the track is nearly 1.5 miles in length and the soil is a mixture of river bottom loam and sand. There are a variety of jumps, from easy to difficult, but all are forgiving. Our goal was to design a track that would challenge all skill levels without sacrificing rider safety. There are no "do or die" gap jumps! On practice days, the track is fully race prepped, safety flaggers are positioned throughout the course, and riders are divided into groups based on bike size and skill level. We've recently completed an elaborate irrigation system designed to maintain optimum track conditions while keeping dust to a minimum. Come out and experience the track everyone is talking about!

Track Description Detailed track description: This circuit covers several acres of natural terrain, a large overall layout. Here is some more details. Southern 1/3 of track layout consists of 3 steep bluff uphill and down hill passes, this leads to the valley section, middle 1/3 has more gradual hills, natural and manmade tabletops and bowl turns, and the north end includes about 1/3 of the overall layout, more level ground consisting of Wyaconda Creek bottom with slough beds and creek banks as obsticles and jumps. Total length of 1.3 miles completes one lap. Previous doubles and triples have been upgraded to safer man made tabletops. Whoop sections and breaking bumps with a couple of long straights where you can actually tap 5th gear for a few seconds on most bikes, adds to the fun. The valley section, starting gate and finish line are in the center of the layout and hub of activity on raceday. The North Wyaconda Creek makes a horseshoe bend here as well. Tons of sawdust have been added and the track surface varies during the season changing with mother natures help from soft to intermediate and hard pack. Pit area and bluffs are shaded by oak trees during the summer months. Lap times average in the 2:20 range under best track conditions for the fast guys. Fun and challenging terrain for the novice, intermediate or expert.

Track Description We stepped out on to the start line which is a long grass start into a nice left, The track had not recently been prepped due to lots of rain, but one could see that when it is pre race condition, this rich black dirt filled with sand, mulch and sawdust would be a hoot to twist a throttle thru. At probably 30 feet wide all around this track, covers a rolling landscape just barely outside the city limits of Kirksville. After what very few modifications it will need to be a fantastic track worthy of the drive, it should lay in at about 1.5 miles. Several elevation change jumps, long sweeping turns, throw in some off cambers and a sand sections and I think you guys should love this place. Running water restrooms, level camping, and planned electrical hookups by spring should complete a great facility
